- (‘A series where we talk some more about what we decide to reblog’)
My tenure at Four Pins exposed me to the beauty of Gentry NYC’s editorial work. Truly - with the small exception of several noted Japanese publications - I’ve not seen many other examples of styling so directional, progressive, and yet balanced.
The team there are focused on the versatility in clothing, on blurring the boundaries between workwear, streetwear, and the more radical offerings they possess.
This EG work shirt (now, unsurprisingly, sold out) is a testament to that philosophy. It’s featured prominently in much of their promotional work - a testament to its versatility. With an excellent standing collar and tasteful patchwork details this is going to be good inspiration for the summer.
Truly a chambray/casual/work shirt without equal.
